The National Association of Counties (NACo), funded by an
EPA grant, will hold a "Stormwater Runoff for Counties" webinar on Thursday,
Nov.12, from 2-3:30 p.m. EST. The webinar, with a targeted audience of
NACo members, will describe how counties have worked with federal initiatives to
provide safe, affordable drinking water to constituents. Panelists participating
in the webinar include Andrea Korovesis, Rob Swanson, and Stephen McCracken from
DuPage County Illinois, Youn Sim of LA County, California, and Sarah Furtak and
Menchu Martinez from U.S. EPA.

2010 Land Grant and Sea Grant National Water Conference The 2010 Land and Sea Grant National Water Conference will take place February 21-25, at the Marriot Hilton Hotel in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Conference highlights include over 160 presentations addressing current and future water resource management issues, and participants will consist of University researchers and educators who lead water quality and quantity programs.
