This 1-day webinar training session will focus on vegetation selection, planting, and maintenance for aquatic ecosystem restoration in the Southern Region. Participants will learn how to plan and implement projects using native plants along stream sides, wetlands, floodplains, and stormwater practices. A companion web site will provide resources on streamside vegetation and stormwater management.

2010 Land Grant and Sea Grant National Water Conference The 2010 Land and Sea Grant National Water Conference will take place February 21-25, at the Marriot Hilton Hotel in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Conference highlights include over 160 presentations addressing current and future water resource management issues, and participants will consist of University researchers and educators who lead water quality and quantity programs.
